History
In 1999, a handful of motivated Iowa pharmacists had a dream—a seemingly simple idea to help people get well for less money. These individuals knew first hand that community pharmacists were highly trained and underutilized experts in medication therapy. They were also convinced that positioned with the right tools, pharmacists could improve healthcare quality and reduce costs.
Today Outcomes Pharmaceutical Health Care™ is a progressive Medication Therapy Management firm establishing Outcomes™ Personal Pharmacists as key health care professionals. Outcomes Personal Pharmacists do much more than count pills and pour liquids. Combined with their in-depth knowledge of drug safety, effectiveness, compatibility and cost, and their personal knowledge and interaction with patients, they identify the most effective medications to treat their patients' conditions—getting the best results for the lowest cost.
What started as a dream to help Iowans is now, an innovative company on the leading edge of the developing field of MTM. Leadership
Tom Halterman, Chief Executive Officer
Tom Halterman is a co-founder and equity partner in the company. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and has served as President of the College's Alumni Advisory Board. Tom is a past President of the Central Iowa Pharmacists Association, winner of the Iowa Pharmacists Association's Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year award, and was tabbed by the Des Moines Business Record as one of central Iowa's top 40 business leaders under the age of 40 in 2001.

Patty Kumbera, Chief Operating Officer
Patty Kumbera is a co-founder and equity partner in the company. She is a graduate of the Drake University College of Pharmacy and has been appointed to the Drake Alumni Board Executive Committee. Patty serves on the Pharmacy Services Technical Advisory Panel addressing HIPAA and pharmacist professional services. She is a frequent speaker at national programs and has been named one of American Druggist's 50 Most Influential Pharmacists.

Directions and Parking
Outcomes' headquarters is located in the East Village area of downtown Des Moines at the base of the Iowa State Capitol building. From I-235 take the E 6th Street exit south to Locust. The building is located on the southeast corner of E 6th and Locust.
Visitor parking is available in the lot immediately south of the building. Metered parking is also available
